Grandkid Investigator Weekend Drop-Ins

At this GKI program, we will be interviewing one of the Potomac Courts residents about woodworking. Kids will have a chance to work on a project too. Space is limited!

Participants are expected to attend every session, unless they are ill.

This program is offered at no cost to families.

For children ages 12 and under, a parent or guardian must be present for the entire session to ensure the safety of both the child and participating residents.

The GKI program helps children/teens and their families make meaningful connections and have fun with older adults in senior living communities!
What makes the Grandkid Investigator program unique is that we focus on offering structured, long term opportunities for intergenerational connection so that genuine intergenerational relationships can develop.
This is not only a meaningful interaction for senior living residents, but also for the youth and families involved.
