When you register, you will:

1. Choose from several options/dates that fit your schedule.

2. Mark your calendars and come on that day ready to meet an older friend or two who lives at a local senior living community.

What should my group or family expect?

Your visit will involve some meaning conversation (where we provide you with prompts there's no awkward silence!) + then an activity (choose one available).

If you have a group that has an activity you would like to do with senior living residents (craft, movie night, dancing, music, etc.) please email us at thevalueofwrinkles(at)gmail.com and we can try to schedule something for you!

Be part of this movement to bless the older generation in our community — and give your kids, teens, or young adults an experience they’ll always remember.

How do I sign up to do this as a group (sports team, youth group, dance club, etc)? Email us at [email protected] and give us a date/time you're available to participate. We'll email you back as soon as we can find you a match!

Can I sign up for several dates?

If you'd like yes!

What is the Grandkid Investigator program?

The Grandkid Investigator Program is a program where we connect youth with senior living residents for 6-week sessions so that kids get the chance to engage and interact more with residents.

Kids are given missions that guide and prompt them to interact with a grandparent/older friend. We make it easy for this connection to happen. Our goal is to empower children and young adults to use their "super power" to brighten and older adult in their community.

Read our blogpost about a recent Grandkid Investigator program we hosted at Brooke Grove Assisted Living in Olney, MD.
