Program Overview

The Grandkid Investigator Program is an intergenerational initiative designed to motivate youth to engage with senior living residents. 

Program Benefits

  • social engagement with younger community members
  • opportunities to encourage and share their lives with youth
  • Increased empathy and understanding for the older generation 
  • Greater visibility/connections in your community

Our Role

  • Child & family recruitment and reminders (We send out emails to families, handle parking, attendance, Parent/guardian waivers,etc.)
  • Coordination with community staff for scheduling and implementation.
  • Serve as liaison for participants/family concerns

  • Focuses on continual interaction vs one-time service projects
  • Offers opportunities for deeper engagement and real relationships
